How to pay
Pay by card or bank transfer (ACH) through the Travel Portal.
Card processing fees, charged by WeTravel: Visa or Mastercard 2.9%, Apple Pay or Google Pay 3.3%, American Express or non-U.S. cards 3.9%.
Bank transfer (ACH) from a U.S. bank account has no fee and usually takes 5–7 business days to clear. Wire transfers cost about $25.
Zelle is accepted for payments after your deposit, with no fee.
We no longer accept checks.

Your checklist
Passport: must be valid for at least 6 months past your return date.
Overseas medical insurance is required to travel with Biblical Expeditions. Get a travel insurance quote →
Flights: follow the arrival and departure guidance on your trip page before booking.
Prescription medications: bring a paper copy of the prescriptions for any medications you must take.
Prepare for your activity level: start walking outside and getting your body used to waking up early before you go.
Trip Box and packing list: we’ll mail your B.E. Trip Box to your home and email your packing list 45 days before departure.
Entry requirements by destination
ISRAEL TRIPS ONLY
ETA-IL entry permit: you must have an approved ETA-IL at least 30 days before departure. Apply online through the Israel ETA-IL application.
Read the Israel Cancellation & Refund Policy for your departure type (standard group or luxury & private) — it applies in addition to the Participant Terms & Conditions.
GREECE & ITALY
No additional entry requirements.

Common questions
What does my deposit cover?

Your deposit secures your spot. Every deposit includes a $300 non-refundable administration fee. Seven days after you register, your full deposit becomes non-refundable. Your deposit amount is listed on your trip page.
Is airfare included?
+
Trip prices never include international airfare. Some trips include a domestic flight, such as Athens to Thessaloniki in Greece; when they do, it’s listed in that trip’s inclusions.
When are payments due?

Your deposit is due when you register. Future payment dates vary by trip, and all of them are listed at the bottom of the confirmation email you receive after registering.
Are there payment fees?

Card payments through the Travel Portal include a processing fee charged by WeTravel, not Biblical Expeditions: 2.9% for Visa or Mastercard, 3.3% for Apple Pay or Google Pay, and 3.9% for American Express or cards issued outside the U.S. Paying by bank transfer (ACH) from a U.S. bank account at checkout has no fee; it usually takes 5–7 business days to clear. Can I request a single room?

Yes, when available. Single room pricing is listed on each trip page. The number of single rooms is limited on every trip, so if you’d like one, register as soon as possible while single rooms are still available.
How active are the trips?

Each trip page lists its activity level. Expect a lot of walking, often on uneven ground and stairs.
Can accommodations be made for mobility issues?

It’s best to contact our team to discuss any mobility concerns. We’ll give you a thorough walkthrough of which accommodations can and cannot be made on your trip.
Is there a minimum age?

Age requirements are set per trip and listed on the trip page.
